Your proposal should include a brief explanation of
the subject and why you believe
there is a market for the book.
You should describe your books contents, including
any images
(photographs, illustrations, maps, etc.) or similar material that
might be
associated with its publication.
Include the 'Table of Contents' with a brief one-paragraph
description for each
chapter. Enclose a sample chapter for our
editor to evaluate. Please do not send
original
photographs or 'one of a kind' material. A good quality photocopy
will
suffice.
Competition from other published books should be discussed and
noted. What makes
your book different? Does your book provide
information not previously mentioned
in other publications? Note
your competition, but enumerate the reasons why you
believe your
book will be successful.
Who will benefit from your book? What is your target audience and
why would they
purchase this book? How would you promote your
book? Do you believe your book
would be beneficial to readers in
other countries? If so, why?
What are your qualifications for writing this book? What is your
educational and/or
career background that establishes your
credibility as an authority or qualified person
to write a book
on this subject? Also, please forward your publishing history and
why you decided to write this book. If you are a first time
author your book should
be completed prior to your
submission.
Please include a stamped-self-addressed envelope for the return
of your submission
